On March 14, 2025, a series of powerful tornadoes and severe windstorms swept through Northeastern Arkansas, bringing devastation to communities across the region. The storms caused widespread destruction, tragic loss of life, and left many without power or essential services. Several cities served by Summit Utilities, Inc. (Summit), including Cave City, Diaz, Jacksonport, Newport, Black Rock, and Paragould, were among the hardest-hit areas.
