Our team members live in our service areas and have relatives and friends in the outlying counties and towns we support. Summit team members buy groceries where you shop, dine where you dine, and are proud to call your hometown their hometown. That’s why we stand behind giving back to the communities we support in a big way. Summit works to play a key role in making our cities and towns phenomenal places to live. We do this through community programs and charitable giving efforts.
Summit team members contribute significant time and financial support to the communities in which we live and work.
In 2023, our team members participated in over 8,800 hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO). As a company, our annual goal was 5,600 hours. We’re proud to have exceeded our goal for 2023!.
Summit provides members of our team up to 20 hours annually of paid time to volunteer in the communities we serve.
Community giving is so important to us. Each year we partner with local charitable organizations, schools, industry groups, and our team members to support the betterment of the communities, environment, and people we serve.
Our future depends on healthy, vibrant communities and opportunities for our friends and neighbors to fulfill their potential. That's why community giving is so important to us. Each year we partner with local charitable organizations, schools, industry

Arkansas Food Bank
Summit is proud to support the Arkansas Food Bank. Did you know the state of Arkansas ranks second in the nation for food insecurity? Summit’s support helps distribute food and meals to 33 counties across the state to assist families in need.
Area Chambers
Summit works with local chambers to inform residents of energy efficiency practices, rebates and money-saving offers, and payment assistance programs. Working with area chambers additionally educates community members of our industry, promotes business growth and economic development, as well as tourism.
To further show our investment in the communities we operate in, we aim to go beyond charitable giving in a monetary form. After all, to be truly dedicated requires not only financial assistance but an investment of time as well. Summit’s volunteer time off (VTO) program is something we consider a perk for both our team members and our communities. VTO allows our team to give back to the local areas we serve, it promotes personal growth, self-esteem, and it’s fun and brings people together!
