LAWTON, Okla. (June 1, 2026) — Summit Utilities Oklahoma, a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, today announced applications are open for the 2026 Summit Cares Grant Program. The annual program provides funding to nonprofit organizations working to strengthen communities across its service territory.
“We are deeply grateful to have the honor of serving communities across Oklahoma,” said Kurt Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summit Utilities. “Through our Volunteer Time Off program, Summit team members provide volunteer hours to local nonprofits to support the people and organizations that make Oklahoma thrive. Through Summit Cares, we’re proud to provide financial support to help local organizations address the needs of communities across Oklahoma.”
In 2025, Summit Utilities Oklahoma awarded $25,000 in grant funds to support 24 nonprofit organizations across Oklahoma.
To qualify, applicants must operate within the Summit Utilities of Oklahoma’s service territory and show documentation of 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt status. The deadline to apply is July 10, 2026. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $10,000, with recipients to be announced in mid-August.
