Summit Utilities Oklahoma Awards $25,000 to 24 Community Non-Profits

Lawton, Oklahoma (October 7, 2025) – Summit Utilities Oklahoma (Summit) is proud to announce it is awarding $25,000 in grant funds to support 24 non-profit organizations across Oklahoma. This initiative reflects Summit’s continued commitment to building stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities in the areas it serves.

The non-profits selected this year provide vital services ranging from basic human needs to STEAM education, community enrichment, and environmental stewardship.

“Our communities are at the heart of everything we do,” said Todd Jacobs, Summit’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. “Through Summit Cares, we are able to partner with nonprofits that are making a real difference, whether it’s providing basic necessities, supporting STEAM programs, enhancing community enrichment, or protecting our environment.”

The 2025 Summit Utilities Oklahoma grant recipients are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations located within Summit’s service area. They are:

As part of its Summit Cares Charitable Giving Program, Summit accepts applications each summer from eligible non-profit organizations in its service area. A review panel made up of Summit team members evaluates the applications and selects recipients based on alignment with giving priorities, which include basic human needs, STEAM education, community enrichment, and environmental stewardship.

In addition to charitable giving, Summit also encourages employees to give back by offering up to 20 hours of paid volunteer time annually to support causes in their local communities.
