Summit Utilities, Inc Recognized as Industry Leader in Safety Performance

Centennial, Colorado (May 9, 2024) – Summit Utilities, Inc. (Summit) has received an American Gas Association's (AGA) Industry Leader Accident Prevention Certificate for the eighth consecutive year. The recognition underscores Summit's commitment to excellence in safety within the gas utility industry. AGA awards the Industry Leader Accident Prevention Certificate to natural gas companies for their exceptional safety practices and dedication to preventing accidents.

Accident Prevention Certificates are awarded to companies that achieve a DART incident rate below the industry average for their company type and size. DART incident rate measures recordable cases involving days away from work, days of restricted work activity, or job transfer.
