Delight Your Tastebuds and Save Time for Family: Simple & Tasty BLT Pasta Salad

Springtime is upon us, and the outdoors are calling! When the weather’s nice, the last thing you want to do is spend all day in the kitchen. Luckily, here is a simple, tasty, and quick recipe to provide a delicious meal the whole family will enjoy. Choose a natural gas cooktop to prepare your bacon and boil your pasta. Cooking with natural gas is one of the simplest ways to ensure your dishes are cooked evenly and efficiently. Gas ranges, cooktops and grills handle it all while maximizing the flavor and taste! Make cooking on natural gas equipment part of your meal prep process every time- it’s a sure way to save time, save energy, and deliver tasty dishes every time!

Prep Time: 10 minutes 

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of bowtie or rotini noodles 
  • 3 cups of Romaine lettuce, chopped 
  • ¾ cup red onion, chopped 
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped 
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing 
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise 
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions: 

  • Cook pasta according to instructions.
  • While pasta is cooking, prepare the rest of the salad by chopping the vegetables and crumbling the bacon.
  • In a large bowl, add the tomatoes, lettuce, bacon and red onion. 
  • In a small bowl, mix the ranch, yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar and pepper. Mix well. 
  • Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water. 
  • Toss pasta with the dressing mixture until evenly coated. 
  • Cover and refrigerate to enjoy later or serve immediately for a meal that’s ready in a snap!
