Soup’s On! Chicken Noodle Soup Made on a Natural Gas Stovetop will Delight the Whole Family

Stay warm this Winter with this delicious homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! With this easy recipe, you don’t need to be a professional chef to take advantage of all of the benefits of cooking with natural gas. Natural gas stovetop heating is highly responsive. Burners heat up quickly to help make preparing meals as efficient as possible. Additionally, natural gas heat uses less energy than other heating methods, so you can feel good about being more energy efficient while you cook! Whether you're feeling under the weather or you're just in need of a little comfort, there's nothing like a comforting and tasty soup to warm you up.

 

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes 
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes

 Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 4 cans chicken broth
  • 1 can vegetable broth
  • ½ pound chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 1 package of noodles
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste 

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Add chicken broth, vegetable broth, chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
