The Summit STEAM Student of the Month program celebrates exceptional students in the Central Arkansas area who excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Teachers are invited to submit applications for outstanding students, whose achievements are carefully reviewed. Each month, one student is selected and honored with a swag bag from Summit Utilities, featured on THV11, highlighted on our social media channels, and showcased on our website. This recognition aims to celebrate and inspire young talent in the STEAM fields.

Summit is proud to support STEAM initiatives in our communities by partnering with the Museum of Discovery
In Fall’s 2024 school season, Summit supported STEAM educational programs for five Title I schools in Central Arkansas through programing provided by the Museum of Discovery. The monetary donation to support the initiative plays a key role in the museum's efforts to bring interactive STEAM learning experiences to students in underserved areas.
As the need for a skilled STEAM workforce continues to grow, hands-on education is critical to building interest and proficiency in these fields. The museum's outreach offers students a unique chance to explore STEAM careers and gain inspiration to pursue economic and professional opportunities. In Arkansas, where diversity in STEAM fields remains low, programs like these are vital for shaping a more inclusive, prepared workforce.
