Rebates Available

Beyond the no-cost measures, including low-flow​ spray valves and faucet aerators (PDF), the program offers rebates toward energy efficient equipment and processes that save energy. Depending on the facility type and operating characteristics, eligible measures may include:

  • Packaged HVAC unit heaters
  • Pipe insulation
  • Steam trap replacement
  • Stack dampers​
  • Programmable thermostats

How does the Commercial & Industrial Program work?

Please follow the steps below to participate:

  1. Sign and submit the Participation Agreement to enroll.
  2. The Program Administrator will contact you to determine eligibility and specific gas-saving measures that fit your organization’s needs.
  3. Work with the Program Administrator to discuss project opportunities around natural gas efficiency, including no-cost direct install measures.
  4. Schedule any required pre-installation inspections to allow the Program Administrator to quantify prospective energy savings and to reserve rebates for any selected (custom) projects.
  5. Complete projects and post-installation inspection(s).
  6. Receive rebate dollars from Summit Utilities benefit from future years of energy and utility bill savings.

Boiler & Burner RebatesBoilers are some of the hardest working pieces in a facility. Our boiler system and boiler system component rebates help ensure your facility operate as efficiently as possible.

High Efficiency Homes Program

Summit Utilities Energy High Efficiency Homes™ Program

Receive up to $2,010 in rebates

Summit Utilities High Efficiency Homes™ program for new construction offers a $1,000 rebate to builders who construct new homes featuring efficient natural gas appliances.

In order to qualify for the rebate, builders must equip their new homes with the following:

  • A primary natural gas heating source rated at 95 percent or greater AFUE
  • A primary natural gas water heating source
  • At least one other natural gas appliance

Additional benefits:

  • Ability to sell more upgrades
    • The cost of home ownership includes monthly mortgage and utility expenses, and homes with natural gas appliances offer significantly lower energy bills that give your buyers monthly savings they can use to add upgrades without increasing their net monthly expenses
  • More satisfied homebuyers
    • More than 70 percent of prospective homebuyers prefer natural gas appliances

Program basics

  • Program dates: January 1 through December 31.
  • Rebates are rewarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted. Rebate program funds are budgeted on an annual basis. Rebate amounts and availability are subject to approval by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
