State:

Understanding Residential Natural Gas Rates

At Summit Utilities, we understand just how important it is to give our valued customers, the best possible prices. That is why we ensure our prices are stable, giving the families and communities we serve, the peace of mind they need. Unlike propane, which is very likely to have varying prices, our prices are pre-approved by state regulators.

April 2023 Cost of Gas Information From Our President and CEO, Kurt Adams

As a utility, Summit does not profit from the cost of gas. Our customers pay what we pay. We are required to adjust the cost of gas on November 1 and April 1 of every year through a filing with the Arkansas Public Service Commission, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, and the Texas Railroad Commission. While markets remain volatile, we are pleased to report that since our most recent filing on April 1, 2023, your cost of gas has come down. Watch this informative video from our President and CEO, Kurt Adams, as he discusses our April 2023 rate adjustment.
